Our goal is to help you be as comfortable as possible, both during your adjustments and between your visits. We’ll tailor your care plan to your specific situation—some moms-to-be struggle with things like carpal tunnel, sciatica, low back pain and general stress. We’ll do a thorough exam to locate the underlying cause of your issues, and design a care plan to correct it. Of course, we don’t X-ray our pregnant or nursing patients.
We have special tables and equipment that allow you to lie facedown for your adjustments. Many of our pregnant patients love being able to lie comfortably and safely—they joke they just want to come in and lie on our table for a few minutes every day!
Your doctor will communicate clearly with you and ensure they understand your preferences when it comes to style of adjustments. If you prefer extra-gentle, instrument-assisted adjustments, we’re happy to accommodate that. And if you prefer manual adjustments, that’s fine too. Either way, rest assured your adjustment will be safe for both you and your baby.
